Her stunning color, prominent dorsal stripe and zebra-barring make her standout everywhere she goes! Not only is she cute as a button, Gator is as gentle as one gets! There is not much this mare hasn’t seen or experienced, bikes, tarps, traffic, kites, balloons, trains, whips and gunfire don’t bother her a bit! She is the first one to greet you at the gate every morning and absolutely loves attention. You can ride her Western, English, double, bareback, and bridleless! She fearlessly takes on any trail no matter how challenging, pays attention to steep, rough terrain and picks her way through running water, deadfall, rocks, bogs, sand and sage with confidence. Gator’s encounters with bear, moose, elk, and coyotes showcase her unwavering bravery and resilience. Drop your hand and let her lead the way! Gator has been used extensively on the ranch for a variety of tasks; doctoring yearlings, gathering, shipping, sorting, and branding! She has a beautiful, easy to ride walk, slow jog, extended trot and lope. Gator knows all of the maneuvers including side pass, rollbacks, and backup. She is the perfect mix of woah and go as she travels out well on the ranch but wants to hunt a stop in the arena. Along with being a pro on the ranch and trails, Gator has also been started in the breakaway roping and on the heel side! She is accepting and forgiving of cues given by beginner and youth riders, and handy enough for the experienced horseman to enjoy. This mare’s extreme versatility gives her rider endless opportunities! Take her to the trails, ranch, show ring, roping pen or even the English ring!
