LAURIE
Laurie Darlin is a pretty 6 year old 13.3 hand molly mule. She is by a large standard jack and out of a well bred registered Quarter horse mare named Hollywood’s San Peppy. She is well suited for a kids mule or a small adult although she can carry a full size adult without problems. She has an extremely sweet and willing temperament and has the patience to tolerate children or beginners. She travels out nicely on the trail and is a brave mule who is not easily spooked. She excelled on the extreme trail course and has even done some work on cows. This little mule really likes her people and is always easy to catch. She loves ear scratches and is easy to bridle, saddle and halter. She will wait patiently while her tack is adjusted by little riders. She will load in any trailer, easy to clip, vaccinate and deworm and is good for the farrier. Laurie knows all the basics, she can back, side pass, turns around quite nicely and has a very good stop. She has been ridden by an 11 year old boy in the rough country of west central Montana near the continental divide. Laurie was started by Matt Fournier but most of her riding has been done by Trent Price, and she has really taken to Trent. Over the last year, Laurie has proven to be a safe reliable mount. She has carried Trent hundreds of miles hunting and riding in the mountains of Montana. They have also competed in a wide variety of events including gaming, pleasure and trail at local shows and at Hells Canyon Mule Days.
