REBA
Reba is a fancy little 8 year old molly mule who is a fun ride at a show or playday and on the trail. She is game for about anything and takes it all in stride without a fuss. She is always the first to greet you at the gate and is happy to be caught and ridden every day, no matter how hard she worked for you the day before. Reba is the same mule every time you take her out. Reba has ponied colts, hunted and ponied a pack mule and moved and sorted cows. She has also spent some time in the show ring and has been hauled and ridden all over the back country. Reba is sure footed and confident and will cross water, bridges, down trees and rocky terrain without hesitation. We have seen about everything on the trail, from backpackers to bighorn sheep and she is not spooky. She is a steady mule who enjoys the trail and is a pleasure to ride. She is broke and in the bridle and has a good rein on her. She has a nice turn around, side passes with ease, lopes nice circles and will sit down and stop. She is patient and careful when opening and closing gates and negotiating tricky obstacles. She rides out alone with absolutely no issues and does just as well in a group. She is happy in a stall or in the pasture. She is super willing and trainable and takes to new jobs like a duck to water. Reba is kind hearted, sensible and smart and would make a wonderful youth or ladies mule. She has excellent ground manners, is good about dogs and gets along with other equines in the pasture. Reba is 14 and a half hands and will weigh approximately 1000 pounds. She is easy to clip, bathe, vaccinate and shoe. She loads right up in any trailer and hauls great. She is up to date on dental, hoof care, deworming and vaccinations. Reba is by the legendary First Choice Colonels Copyright, producer of numerous champions and grandson of the great Texas Scooter. Her mother was a breeding stock paint mare. This mule has been an absolute pleasure to own and ride and I will definitely miss her. Reba is available for you to try out before sale week at our ranch in Oregon, and also at Mule Days the week of the sale.
