Blue Duck is a grandson of LEO HANCOCK HAYES by the great BLUE VALENTINE. He is 15.1 hands and weighs 1300lbs! Blue Duck is SO gentle and such a laid-back and good-natured gelding! Don’t want to ride him for 6 months? No problem! He stays gentle. We bought him from a 70 year old man that would just saddle him and go. Blue Duck has done all kinds of ranch work. He has pushed cattle, roped cattle outside and has been used to check the broodmare band. Blue Duck is well-started in the heading and heeling. He is great in the heading and would be great for a lower number roper! Blue Duck is very safe for novice riders, the youth and elderly! He is once in a life-time horse! Blue Duck is 100% sound and has no vices. He is great in a stall and when turned out with others. He stands well when tied, to be bathed and on the trailer!
