Blueberry is the horse that every family in the country needs! He is kind as they come, puppy dog gentle, always in your pocket, but has stellar ground manners. Not only is Blueberry a finished ranch horse but he’s also the horse that meets you at the gate every single day and is always ready for anything you ask of him. He is very accustomed to sorting and dragging calves, and an absolute favorite to doctor and ship cattle on. Blueberry has super smooth transitions and has a trot and lope as smooth as glass. He guides around easily with a cute turn around and a big stop. Blueberry side passes both ways and will cross any kind of obstacle you can find! He is safe around traffic and machinery and is the kind of horse that is always level headed and calm even with substantial time off. Our children have rode Blueberry through the Palo Duro Canyon and the Canadian river, they’ve also used him to bring the ropings steers up and help gather cattle. He is sure footed and always takes the best care of them. A true blue babysitter! This is a rare find on a truly pure and honest gelding. He’s kind hearted and just wants to please!
