MERCE
Merce is one of the friendliest, most personable mules you will ever meet. She is the first to greet you at the gate and is happy to be caught and ridden every day. She is tall and pretty but not too wide, making her a very comfortable mule to ride. She will one hand neck rein and knows all the basics in the arena but her favorite place is definitely the trail. Merce has been used by novice and youth riders as a trail mule and to move cattle in the mountains. We have used her for hunting and for novice riders in the arena and on the trail. She has a comfortable stride that covers ground and she crosses obstacles with the proper amount of caution to keep you and her safe. Merce is the kind of mule you don’t have to ride every day or even every month to enjoy her. She is the same mule every time you take her out. She is good around dogs and gets along with other equines in the pasture. She is a kind hearted mule and has good ground manners. She is steady under saddle and past the age of youthful shenanigans, so you can just saddle her up and enjoy a pleasant ride. Merce is good about being clipped, bathed, and having her feet worked on. She loads right up in the trailer and hauls great. She loves ear scratches and offers no resistance to being bridled or haltered. She is up to date on dental, hoof care, deworming and vaccinations. We would love for you to meet her and try her out here at our ranch any time before sale week or would be happy to schedule a time to ride her on the trail during mule days.
