"Les Best" is affectionately named after a true horseman who had an eye for performance quality. This 8 year old Bay Roan Gelding is built to be an athlete. He comes from a long line of solid ranch horses that can handle a hard day of work and keep their composure in a tight situation. Les Best is a finished ranch horse that was born, raised and still currently owned by the Horse Butte Ranch in Two Dot, MT.  He crosses water and rough terrain effortlessly. He has roped and doctored yearlings, cows and bulls on pasture by himself. No matter the job, Les Best gives you 100% every day. Whether it be trailing cattle across the range, dragging calves into the trailer, sorting in the alley or taking guests on their first ever horseback ride, Les Best is the horse that you can always count on. He is a pleasure to ride around and travels smoothly and willingly. This is the horse that everyone wants to saddle up for those long cattle drives. He will walk, trot or lope to the pace that you ask him to go. He is eager to please and extremely comfortable to ride in the saddle. Les Best has carried a flag and would make a gorgeous queen horse. He has impeccable conformation, a kind eye and good solid bone and feet. This flashy gelding draws attention everywhere he goes. You can ride him by himself or with a group and he always minds his business. Les Best has been started and has a solid foundation in the arena as a head horse. He runs strong to cattle and handles like a Porsche. He scores flat footed, leaves the box level and really rates to cattle. He has also been used as a pickup horse.
