BUCK

Buck is a 9 year old draft/quarter cross gelding that stands 16.2 and weighs around 1450 pounds. Buck has been a favorite in our family, used for everything from gathering cattle in daily ranch work, trail riding, penning cattle at the sale barn, ponying colts, pick up horse at rodeos, you name it-he's done it! Prior to life with our family he was in MT being used in similar work, only he did pull a feed sled single or double, no job is too big or small for this handsome fella. He crosses rivers, logs, steep trails, he is safe, stout and will hold himself well and keep you safe on uncertain terrain. Over Labor Day he was with us at the Chuckwagon Races in Clinton, AR. Through crowds of thousands of horses, people & all the crazy action, Buck let none of it excite him. He remained his quiet and self composed. Ridden by every level of rider from beginner to experienced horseman, he always takes his job seriously and aims to please. Buck will be a great addition to any ranch life work or leisure trail rider. He's even an elegant enough mover for the dressage or cowboy dressage ring, reenactment events, you name it, he'll do it!
