Angus is a 2015 bay roan QH/Brabant cross gelding standing at 15.2 hands tall. Angus is a beautiful silver bay roan, he has plenty of chrome with a blaze face, coon tail and white socks. He will get you noticed absolutely wherever you go. He is one of the most kind and gentle horses we have ever had in our program. He loves people, loves attention and has a friendly and laid-back personality. Angus will be the same horse every day whether he has had 2 weeks off or 2 months off. He is nicely broke, picks up both leads, has correct turn arounds, is soft in the bridle and moves off leg pressure. Angus can cover any ground he steps foot on with ease. He has been all over steep and rocky terrain, through thick brush, over downfall, logs and crosses water. You will not find a more reliable and safe horse out on the trails as he is confident out by himself or will be happy wherever you put him in a group. Angus has been used heavily on the ranch, he has moved, gathered, shipped, doctored and even branded cattle. He is very strong by the horn and can pull anything. He has a great work ethic and will go all day without a complaint. Angus is the definition of a gentle giant; he is great with the kids. We can turn the little ones loose on him in the mountains or in the arena with full confidence he will take care of them. We have hauled him to town and the carnivals, loud noises and crowds don’t phase him. Angus has very good manners, he loads in the trailer, stands for saddling, bathes, stands for the farrier, turns out with other horses and is easy to catch. Angus can be enjoyed by all levels of riders from an experienced hand to a beginner, they will appreciate his kind demeanor and fancy handle.
