RIO

Rio is a 17 year old grade gelding. Standing 15hh, Rio is one of my main go to horses when I need to rope something because he’s a broke, and reliable ride every time. He can be a bit cinchy when you first tighten up the cinch, but walkes out of it fine if. Rio also has a puffy front knee that can cause him to get a little bit sore if you use him hard for long periods of time, but if you want a finished rope horse that you plan to go to the jackpots and have the same horse that will get you right where you need to be every time, he’s your horse. Maybe you need some cattle work done he’s up for the job I’ve used this horse roping straight bulls fat cattle that get out and go in the corn field he will go in there and get ‘em. Rio has heeled some and does fine but he seems to be better on the head side. He does require some consistent scoring or else he will get hot in the box. He walk trots, lopes, backs, neck reins, moves off leg pressure , and soft in the face side passes. Rio has been hauled many places and has a history of winning some big money in the roping pen.
