Here is the true unicorn you’ve been dreaming of! Voodoo is a magnificent 6 year old gelding standing 15.2 hands tall weighing in at a whopping 1350 lbs! Voodoo is a show stopper sure to get you noticed anywhere you go in ANY discipline! With the athleticism, disposition, and conformation he brings to the table there’s no job too big or too small for Voodoo! We have used him for every aspect of ranch work including but not limited to checking fences, dragging calves to the fire, pasture roping/doctoring, sorting, penning, shipping and gathering. He has also been used to start colts, pony racehorses at Keeneland Race Track, drag logs, give riding lessons, and even pull kiddos around on snow sleds. But that’s not even half of it! Voodoo is an absolute star in the dressage ring with unlimited potential! He loves cross country, hunter paces and fox hunting to boot! His resume goes on to include mounted shooting, local ranch horse shows, gymkhana, EXCA, and team roping. If the show ring isn’t your scene, no worries! Voodoo is perfectly content trail riding on a loose rein alone or in a group. He is sure footed, honest and quiet over any terrain or obstacle. You won’t find a horse that enjoys his job as much as this guy! No nonsense and eager to please every time you pull him out of the field whether it’s every morning before daylight or once a month! Despite his size, Voodoo is soft and easy to ride with 3 gentle gaits as well as exceptional ground manners. He has a classy look, plenty of bone and substance and a drool worthy mane and tail!
