Dakota Danny

“Danny” (Dakota Danny) is a full-made and stunning blue roan gelding. He stands 15.3. Danny is a big, beautiful animal that is massive through his shoulder and hip and weighs just shy of 1400 lbs. He is that gorgeous blue roan color with a beautiful head to match that catches everyones eye when they come to the barn. Danny has substantial hoof and bone to hold up to hard work and rough terrain. Danny is one of Jared’s go to head horses that he has been hauling on a regular basis. He scores great, even with a longer barrier, has plenty of run, is super cowy and can pull anything he is hooked to. Danny has been to US ropings, world series ropings as well as jackpots. Aside from being an extremely nice head horse, he rides like a 14 hand horse. For being a big horse, he still has the athletic ability and skillful maneuvers. Danny has been used for all aspects of ranch work. He is the kind of horse that fits any job. Danny is fantastic on the trails and has safely packed around many novice riders through rough trails. He is good for the kids to ride, as well. He has been rode many miles outside and takes care of his rider. Danny has a kind and workmanlike personality. He is a been there done that kind of horse. Nothing phases him. Danny is that hard to find size coupled with the athletic ability everyone wants. He is extremely gentle even when left off- no silliness of any sort. This horse is a stand out in the barn and we are excited for him to find his forever home. Danny is good to haul and stands great for the farrier.
