BLACK FOREST ALVIN

Own a piece of Gypsy Vanner history! Alvin is a 5 year old Gypsy Vanner gelding that stands 15.1 Hands. BLACK FOREST ALVIN was bred by Black Forest Shires and Gypsy Horses, and is a grandson of the late Lion King, who boasts one of the most established names in the Gypsy Vanner industry! Along with Alvin's desirable looks, he packs a heavy resume. He has earned his keep on the ranch, and is a handy mount for any job required. In the arena, he has extensive training and rides off of seat and legs extremely well. He performs many maneuvers including two-tracking, pivoting on forequarters and hindquarters, sliding stops, backing, lead departures, and transitions. He spins both directions with or without a bridle, and backs off of your legs alone. On the trails, Alvin is safe and reliable, he will climb, jump, or swim through any obstacle you ask him to tackle. When riding out alone he willingly goes, and in groups he is great with other horses. This black and white beauty rides slow and quiet, but is also easy to move out at any speed. He handles spooky situations well, and is used to many different animals including buffalo, sheep, goats, dogs, ponies and all kinds of vehicles. He will even ride over fire. Along with English and Western, he rides bareback, double, triple, and yes, even backwards! Whether you ride once a week or once a month, he stays the same gentle soul. Kids can ride and crawl all over him while he holds still and patient. When handled, Alvin stands tied quietly, he loads/unloads and trailers perfectly, is extremely easy to catch, and is a gentleman for the farrier. He bathes, clips, stands for the blow dryer, and fly spray and is up to date on all shots, coggins, health, feet, and teeth.
