McCoy started his riding career in a cutting program in Central Texas. He was in training his entire 2-year-old year and a portion of his 3-year-old year. When he hit his growth spurt they changed his occupation where he spent 3 months with Clay Logan on the head side. McCoy then went to the wheat pastures of West Texas where he was used to tend to lots of outside cattle. McCoy’s biggest asset is his sweet, reliable attitude. He’s the same horse each and every time you throw your saddle on him. McCoy is sired by THE REYL MCCOY who has won $148,856.99 in the NCHA. His sire being the legendary DUAL REY 2021 QDATA ALL-TIME LEADING CUTTING SIRE who has produced more the 50,000,000 dollars in offspring earnings. He’s got all the chrome you can want. Cherry sorrel with a big piebald face and four white wheels make him drool worthy. McCoy is safe on the trail and has been exposed to the loud thundering feed trucks at 4:30 in the morning at the feed yard. There’s not one thing a person can’t love about this gelding.
