BLACK ORCHID TROOPER

Black Orchid Trooper (Montana) is a beautiful, tricolored gypsy cross gelding. He is 6 years old, stands 15 hands and weighs 1200 lbs. He is extremely gentle, beautiful and is great to ride and drive! Montana was imported from Canada as a yearling. He is a cross of a registered gypsy stallion on a nice mare. He has a beautiful head, gorgeous feathering on his feet and strong hip. Montana is incredibly smart, has the best attitude and is always very patient and kind! He has a nice handle as he neck reins well and moves off leg pressure. Montana has a very balanced trot and rhythmic, soft lope. He is more whoa than go and is very trustworthy- great for the whole family! Montana has been ranched on and has pushed cattle. He has also been ridden in the feedlot and through cattle! Montana has been trail ridden many miles in rough country. He has exceptional bone size and big, strong hooves. He is sure-footed and confident on the trail. Also, Montana drives both single and double! He does a great job hitched to a cart and is traffic safe. Montana has also been taught to lay down on command. Montana has absolutely no buck or soundness issues! He stands well to be bathed and stands like a rock when tied! We are excited for Montana to find his forever home!
