Sunrise Mac

Sunrise Mac aka Mac is a 12 year old registered John Mule. Mac is out of an Appendix Quarter Horse mare. At 15.2 hands, Mac can carry a bigger rider and cover a lot of ground. However, if his rider is smaller or just has trouble getting on Mac will side over to the block, a fence or anything else you can find to get on! Mac is a quiet, kind mule that will go anywhere you point him. He is a great traveler and can handle rough terrain, down falls, brush and bridges. Mac will ride nicely alone or in a group, he is happy to lead, follow or hang out in the middle. Mac neck reins very well and will ride in just a neck rope. He has a ground covering walk, a nice trot and lopes well. He moves off leg nicely and quietly opens gates. Mac will also pack a flag and has roped the dummy. He is great with his feet, will tie all day, hobbles, highlines and jumps right in the trailer. He has been around kids, livestock, equipment and four wheelers. Mac is a great mule if you like to ride with your dogs, they don’t bother him one bit. He doesn’t mind being in a stall and gets along great with other mules/horses if he is turned out. We have ponied colts on him all over and he is happy to teach them the ropes. Mac is the same anywhere you take him and does not get upset when moved. He is easy to catch, will do anything for a treat! Mac is great with his ears, can even shave the inside with NO halter on!! That being said he is perfect to clip, mane, ears, and whiskers.
