KINGS BLUE MICKEY

Kings Blue Mickey is a fun loving, all around, dapple grey AQHA gelding. Mickey is 12 years old, 15.1 hands, and has a stout made body. He is sired by Kings Blue Music by Macha Roany Music. While these two foundation bred ranch horses don’t have huge show records themselves, they have sired offspring that are AQHA point earners as well as all around using and pleasure horses. His dam sire is Tee J Willow Jack who was sired by the great AQHA Hall of Fame Stallion Jackie Bee. Mickey himself is a pleasure to have in the barn and to ride. He is an excellent low number team roping horse. He’s very user friendly, and ropes on both the head and heal side. He is great for less experienced or beginner ropers to learn on. Mickey carries his American Ranch Horse Association competition license. He’s been shown at numerous ranch horse shows in ranch pleasure, ranch trail, ranchmanship, and ranch riding. He handles the cattle well in the boxing and ranch cutting. Mickey has also been ranch roped off of. This versatile gelding is great on the trails and with field work. He is careful with his feet in various terrains. He steps nicely through ditches, goes up and down hills and banks, crosses water, and is traffic safe in town. He has been ridden by youth and novice riders and he is patient while showing them the ropes like any experienced horse should be. Mickey has excellent stall manners, and he gets along well with other horses in the pasture. He stands well for the vet and farrier. He loads and unloads easily on both a stock trailer and slant load. He’s well traveled and handles new environments well. This sweet gelding is sure to win your heart just like he has ours.
