He is soft in the face and side passes well. He has been hauled a lot, and is good to clip, shoe, bathe, tie, etc. We have ridden him in the mountains of Colorado and goes through creeks and steep canyons and he takes it all with ease! He will also lay down and sit up like a dog, just for fun! We have owned this wonderful gelding since he was a weanling and we absolutely love him! We have bought several half brothers to Rio and they have all been exceptional and have all been gentle. He has been ridden in all types of terrain and is really sure footed. He is safe to ride out in a group or out alone as it does not matter to him.
